Privacy policy

DRAFT — pending Sait's approval and legal review. This page describes how the site works today and how it is designed to handle analytics and advertising if they are added. It is not yet a final policy. Controller name, contact details and any third-party processors must be completed before launch.

Summary

Calculators run in your browser. We do not receive or store the numbers you type.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that gives us aggregated visit statistics. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
We store two small preferences in your browser's local storage: your chosen country (scl-country) and, if you set them, your privacy choices (scl-consent).
Share links contain only the inputs on the page. Personal figures (income, balances, budget lines) are excluded unless you choose to include them.

Information we may process

Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any website, our hosting provider may log technical information such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time, for security and reliability. [Retention period and legal basis to be confirmed.]

Cloudflare Web Analytics (active). To understand which pages are used and how fast they load, Cloudflare adds a small script (static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js) to our pages. It does not set cookies or use your browser's local storage, and it is not used to build profiles of individual visitors or track you across other websites. It sends Cloudflare information about the page view, such as the page address, referring page, browser and device type, and page-load performance timings; your approximate country may be derived from your IP address. Other analytics (not active). If we add other analytics (for example Google Analytics 4), it will load only after you consent where consent is required, and will be configured to minimise data. [To be completed.]

Advertising (not active). If we add advertising (for example Google AdSense), personalised ads and related cookies will be used only with your consent where required, and you will be able to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. We will honour the Global Privacy Control signal. [Ad partners and details to be completed.]
